The Mariner's Children are a 7 piece alt. folk band that play densely textured, upbeat, heartfelt and intense folk music. Shady Bard are an indie band based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Their debut album From The Ground Up was released on Static Caravan in the UK and XTAL Recordings in Japan. They return with new songs in 2010.

Paperplain http://myspace.com/helenpaperplain
Paperplain is the alias of analogue-loving Helen Page. The delicately sweet and dreamy lo-fi folk single ‘11:30’ was released as part of the Too Pure Singles Club and a video containing the track clocked up over a million views on Youtube. In January she was listed as one of The Times' top ten acts to look out for in 2010.

‘Helen has one of those voices that feels like she’s singing to you personally, and she employs the eight-track to great effect. Her hushed tones and raw talent, hidden behind the hiss and clicks, results in endearingly honest music.’ - Vinyl Junky
